What are MELAROOS TAXES?

 WHAT ARE MELLO-ROOS TAXES ⁉️⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ In California, Mello-Roos applies to certain areas and it helps finance infrastructure projects like sidewalks, schools and utilities.

🏫⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ The tax (which is in fact a bond) is applied only to residents of the district that benefit from the project and it is common to see Mello-Roos taxes in newer developments.
